Über die Veranstaltung

Building information modeling has been the hot topic in the construction industry for some time. The consistent and continuous exchange of information in construction projects should minimize planning and execution errors in the future and lead to a higher planning quality. This also results in potential, opportunities and new business areas for fire protection.

hhpberlin deals intensively with the working and planning method Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the digitization of the construction industry. Our experts have the opportunity to view BIM models and advise the property planners on fire protection based on the building data models.

Together with the KIT Karlsruhe, hhpberlin is involved in leading the specialist group "Fire protection with BIM" at buildingSMART eV. We also contribute our BIM knowledge to the Association for the Promotion of German Fire Protection eV (vfdb). We also work in VDI working groups and support research projects nationwide.
